Psychological services are one of the many services that Kazim Trust provides. There are clinical psychologist & remedial as well as speech therapist at Kazim Trust who are dedicated towards helping children and adults with various psychological issues.
Parental counselling
Parents of the children born with any learning disabilities face a lot of problems accepting the fact and struggle dealing with such children. Kazim Trust conduct sessions for such parents who need to have one-on-one meetings with the experts who guide and assist through parental counselling, which is beneficial for the child in the long run.
Marital Problems/Issues (Couple Counseling)
Due to lack of knowledge and understanding of building relationships, married couples do have problems which seemed to be very serious but often are not as big as they seem. These Marital problems/issues can be resolved by seeking help from an expert. At Kazim Trust, such services are provided for couples who have issues adjusting or coping with their better half. Counsellors hold special sessions for them to resolve their marital problems/issues. Seldom there are instances of verbal abuse as well in relationships or home. Remedial Session
There are children who often function at lower than average level; no matter how much they struggle academically. This is due to certain learning disability. Kazim Trust offers services for such children. The remedial sessions are specially designed to meet the needs of those children focusing on their specific shortcoming. One-on-one instructions by remedial therapists develops the required skills in those children.
Diagnoses of ADHD and other learning difficulties through assessment as well as screening
Certain learning disabilities are not easily ruled out in both, children and adult. Kazim Trust has special arrangements for conducting assessments using various tools. Assessment and online screening is done to rule out ADHD or any other learning disability. After assessment & online screening of a child diagnosed with ADHD and other learning difficulties, Kazim Trust provides full support to them. A positive result does not always mean that the child diagnosed with any such disability will be put on medication. The services provided by Kazim Trust will take care of the treatment required for the child or adult.
